If you’re looking for a desk that stands out in a crowd, craftsman Pete Zoller from Boulder Colorado is doing something unique things with concrete and wood.
The concrete top of this desk is cast alongside live edge walnut wood which is joined together ebony butterfly joints. The juxtaposition is intriguing to say the least. Who knew you could even join concrete and wood together without super glue?
The base of the desk is made of welded 1.5” steel which is hand rubbed with a blackening patina to complete the look.
